I have been terrible at trying new places recently but this restaurant meets my lazy person criteria of being within walking distance of my house.
The place is small and fairly simply decorated; we were warmly greeted on arrived and offered a choice of tables. The wine list is interesting too (as you would expect) and my dining partner was overjoyed to be able to get a single glass of moscatel.
We had some delicious celeriac ravioli and pumpkin with creme fraiche to start, followed by grilled leaks and scallops (not together, as separate dishes). The highlight was some beautifully grilled lamb with root vegetables – perfect on a freezing November day. Mmmmm….
