I was tempted to leave my central bubble again with the promise of £1 oysters at The Richmond; tasty and succulent, they were definitely worth the trip. We had time to quickly sample the whipped cod roe before walking up to P Franco.
P Franco is a wine shop and bar that has also now started doing food too. The kitchen is essentially a one man band and the staff are extremely knowledgeable about wine and happy to chat. We had some super-fresh burrata, delicious bread with grassy olive oil, a pasta dish with fresh cheese and tomatoes, some sort of ‘kale risotto’ which had plenty of pine nuts (always a good thing) and to finish, goat’s cheese ice-cream with caramel.
Maybe I should leave my comfort zone (1) more often!
